5/25/23 – Back Road

Hi Everyone!

It was nice to have good weather last week. With Creekside up and running for us and the great turnout on your part, everything came together for a beautiful evening.

Let’s do it again this Thursday!

Back Road Route:

We are going to ride 20 miles through the Millheim Narrows this week to Brush Valley. The Millheim Fire Company will follow the last rider through the Narrows to prevent vehicles from passing us. Even with the Rescue vehicle following us, try and hustle to the first turn to keep the cars behind us happy! There will be cars coming in the opposite direction, please stay in your lane and pass other riders with caution. The route will be marked with YELLOW arrows. No escort on the return ride through the Narrows, we’re on our own. Ride Safe!

We will be turning right onto the Smulton Road after the Narrows. At the top of the hill take a minute to admire the new barn. They don’t build many like this anymore.

* Please park in the grass parking lot only, do not park in the Fire Co. paved parking lot. They help us and we help them by honoring their request.
* Remember that you are always free to ride your own route, the marked route is just the suggested route. Ride where it makes you comfortable. The Support Vehicle will still be at your service regardless of where you ride in the Valley.

Same as last week! When you return, you can order food from the outside trailer Creekside, or head inside for the full menu. Jay will be pouring brews all night!
